Training Day with the Shimlas

On Wednesday 11th April 2007 Melrose Mini Hornets from the Primary 6 and 7 age groups, together with Primary 6 and 7 pupils from the Earlston High area primary schools, enjoyed a special training session with the Shimlas from South Africa who are one of the visiting international teams for the Melrose Sevens. This training morning was the culmination of several training sessions which had taken place at individual schools over the previous months. These sessions were organised by Melrose Youth Development Officer, Ross Miller, and Community Coach, Les Bottomley. A great time was had by all!
