The Buzz Scotland Mascot Honours for Mini HornetOne of our Mini Hornets, Ruairidh Campbell had the honour of being Mascot at the Scotland -v- South Africa match at Murrayfield on Saturday 25th August. Ruairidh was paired with Captain, Jason White, and had the opportunity to meet him before the game. After the singing of ‘Flower of Scotland’, Ruairidh had the job of leading the other mascots off the pitch. After the game he went down to the players’ tunnel to meet the players and get autographs and photographs from all of his favourites, including Chris Paterson the Lamont brothers, big Wagga Hines and Melrose’s own Kelly Brown. Ruairidh is still buzzing (well, what else would you expect from a Hornet?!) with excitement from his special day and has some great photos and souvenirs to remember the occasion.
