Mini Hornets September Fixtures, Melrose Hornets Junior Rugby Club

On Sunday 9th September P4-7 Mini Hornets will be taking part in Biggar RFC Mini Tournament. Only limited squads are required for this Tournament at each age group so coaches will inform selected players.

Those taking part in the Biggar Tournament should arrive at Biggar RFC, Hartree Mill, Biggar by 12.30 pm latest, in time for the Tournament to start at 1.00 pm. Visit the ‘Location Map’ section of the Biggar RFC site – www.biggarrfc.org.uk - for location details and directions.

Teams from Boroughmuir, Currie, Edinburgh Accies, Selkirk, Stirling County and Uddingston will also be taking part so it promises to be a good afternoon of rugby.

On Sunday 16th September we host teams from Langholm and Kelso and all P4-7 Mini Hornets will be involved in these games. Players should arrive at the Greenyards for 10.30 am in time for warm-up and games starting at 11.00 am.

Primary 7 parents will be on kitchen duty that day and could we please ask all P4-7 parents to provide the following for after-match spectator catering:

P4 - Cakes/Biscuits
P5 - Cakes/Sandwiches
P6 - Savouries
P7 – Sandwiches

On both these Sundays, P1-3 will have coaching as normal at the Greenyards from 11.00 to 12.00.
